Mini Bob Simmons Resin Tints

Here are some designs I put together for the Mini Bob Simmons board. I really liked the way the blunt nose longboard came out so am thinking of doing something similar. I typically see these boards done clear or with a solid one color tint, so I want to try something different. I also wanted to give the board an appearance of being wider and shorter than it really is, that is why I did horizontal lines. Any preferences???

Great shape (MINI SIMMONS) and progress, how did you come up the placement of the 2 keels, do they run parallel to the stringer or angled in??? Thanks George

Thanks for the compliment!!!!
The fins should be parallel to the stringer at 90 degrees. You can kind of see fin position in the rendering above.

Hey Dave,

Man, I have been so busy. It's just sitting there in my garage waiting to be glassed. I have been thinking about it very day and it's bumming me out. Plus I've got to stop by your shop!

Saw the photos from the Grand Opening. Looked like an awesome turnout!!! Would love to hang with you sometime.

Someday.... Just need to free up some time.

Are ya going to try building Template #4? Kenneth Mockett over at Icons of Surf emailed me a few weeks ago asking if he can have someone shape it. He sent the template over to Bing, but haven't heard back regarding that though.
